TONIGHT, It's The Melody Bar Reunion 2008: Here's The Details
Okay, here it is, once and for all:

The Stiffy Biceptz challenge, by the way, is to not play anything we played last time - so, for the record, here's what we played a year ago, and here's what we played last September.
And here's your Google Maps link to the Lodge
We're starting up at 6pm. Last year when we did this, the floor was packed by 7:30pm, so be ready...
I'll be the one with the flashing drink.
Update 1: We just got promoed on G-Rock. That's it - it's gonna be sick.

Oh well, we failed the Stiffy musical challenge--albeit not by much.
Specifically, last night, I heard the Happy Mondays' "Step On," Dramarama's "Anything, Anything," Morrissey's "Suedehead," I'm pretty sure I heard "Bigmouth Strikes Again," and of course, Jigs' ode to the place we all love so much.
I think most of the repeats were played by Matt, who as we all know was in absentia the last two reunions, so how was he to know? And besides, Matt knows what we like. He always has and he always will.
And really...who cares about the repeats? This music has stood the test of time and I don't care if I hear it over and over again. The magic of much of this music is that it stands the test of time. To me, it doesn't sound dated at all, and I'd rather hear Nitzer Ebb than Three Doors Down ANY DAY. Bring it on!!
