Portable Altrok Radio by Sean Carolan
You've probably got a lot of driving ahead of you on the summer weekend ahead, and
maybe even some beach time - so remember that, with a little bit of
planning, you can take Altrok with you.
Just go to Altrok Radio (check the Radio link, above) and start the stream.
Then:
- Hook up a tape deck to your computer's headphone jack, and start
recording cassettes (or 8-tracks, if the mood strikes you and that's
the only player you've got.) Remember to pop one in just before you
go to bed, and you'll have one more tape than you thought you had.
- Use ReplayRadio (http://www.replay-radio.com) to record as big a
chunk of our stream as you'd like for replay on your MP3 Player.
- Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) is a great bit of free
software for recording audio. You can use it to capture audio, too.
Our Party Gone Out Of Bounds starts at 5PM Fridays, featuring nothing
but the crazier music we play - perfect for the beach. (And better
than bringing your laptop and hoping there's a WiFi hotspot handy...)
So there you go - wherever you go for the weekend, take Altrok with you!
