Morrissey Turns On Bowie:
Morrissey disses Bowie, and simultaneously gets a couple more column inches of promo. (Promo which I honestly don't remember him ever getting this much of in the US, so I can't say I begrudge him. I mean, a four-pager in Entertainment Weekly, playlist adds all over otherwise lame Alternative radio, etc.) From TheStarOnline, Via Mike[Sauter]'s Minutae.
Having spent too much money and time on one-note acts, as if the major labels don't have enough problems, Newsweek comes out and says the Indies are where it's at. Looks like Coachella's success took them by surprise. (Mu-hu-hu-ha-ha...)
