Altrok Ticker 5/10/2004
by the staff of Altrok.com

Video: Asbury Park, May 2, 3:27am (5MB MPG File):
At least, that's when my camera tells me this video was taken. Is Asbury alive at that hour? Who am I to argue?

NME Review: The Walkmen, "Bows And Arrows":
Altrok started supporting this band months ago - it's nice to have our gut instincts validated, innit?

Think Globally, Act ... Globally:
Of course, we're happy to look for this kind of stuff for you at Altrok, but we got this one from Google News just by entering "Indie Rock" and sorting by date. (Never say you don't get what you pay for here at Altrok.) Now we know about Trouble Everyday, who are as near to us physically as Philadelphia ... but whose website, interestingly enough, exhorts you to request their record on XFM in London. So, hey...why not do that, while bemoaning the fact that radio an ocean away is more interested in finding out what's new and interesting in the US than radio in the US is.
