"Subatomic particles can have more than one value at the same time":
...which is exactly the sort of thing you need to know if you stop to read David Byrne's tour diary.

Nellie McKay's Success Unhindered By Humility:
Honestly, if I'd been given a bully pulpit at the age of 20, I'm sure I'd have been just as cocky. Let's hope she doesn't do a Sinead O'Connor, 'cause her record is, in fact, very good.

In The Mailbag: Nurotica:
Phil from Nurotica in London sent along a short disc of new music, and it's pretty interesting stuff - just a hair away from metal-ish (sort of), with glam vocals, that makes one want to cue up an Iggy Pop record next (or perhaps Bauhaus's "Ziggy" cover.). Keep an eye on the Altrok Radio playlist, 'cause I believe I'll be playing some of this on the 27th (odd that the two discs have the same songs in different orders, but that's CD recording for ya...)

Where Shall I Go? What Shall I Do?...Oh, Yeah, I Know. Never Mind.:
According to Billboard, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club sent a message to their fans' mailing list confirming that they have split from Virgin Records. And yes, not the other way around. Of course, their new single "In Like The Rose" can now be expected to sell about as well as a salt lick in the Mojave, but that won't stop me adding it to the Altrok Radio Grinder...
