ALTROK Ordinals 17

John Mayer - Room For Squares (Aware/Columbia)
Jeff says: Don't you just hate "youngsters" that are more talented than you'll ever be? Well, get ready to hate John Mayer. Grew up in Connecticut, went to Berklee in Boston, now lives in Atlanta. This early-20's singer/songwriter has created an amazing debut record. The kid has a great voice and great words. "No Such Thing", "My Stupid Mouth", "Love Song For No One", "Great Indoors" are all stellar.

Various Artists - Timeless: Tribute To Hank Williams (Lost Highway)
Jeff says: What do you get when you give people like Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Keb' Mo', Beck, Tom Petty, Emmylou Harris, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Johnny Cash, (and a few others) some of the greatest American songs ever written? This record. 'Nuff said.
